ADHA Transparency Watch - July 24, 2017.

Current Board Minutes available on the website are as follows:

-----

Board Papers

The intent of the Board is to publish as many Board documents as is feasible. Information and attachments to Board documents that are draft, not finalised or sensitive will not be published. An exception is made for draft material already in the public domain (in this instance the Board Advisory Committee Charters released on 16 September 2016).

I wonder what is going on? Getting close to 4 months since the last release. Surely the board has had at least 2 meetings since early April or is the whole thing (the ADHA) now on auto-pilot and not doing much?

David.

I would be happy seeing SMD plans and the promised releases of the Notional strategy. There are some who have plans and investments of our own to make. Should not be surprised though David this is a pattern across Government going right to the top. The recent announcement of the So called national security portfolio seemingly has little supporting documentation and cabinet was not asked to debate it.

Doesn't say much. All the important information is locked away in Attachment A: Delivery Highlight Report, which you cannot access.

Newspeak:
war is peace
freedom is slavery
ignorance is strength

ADHA's version:
Transparency is obfuscation
Strategy is task-list

This government's way beyond newspeak.

e.g "we take your privacy and security very seriously"

But on the myhealthrecord.gov.au website, one year after NEHTA died and was replaced by its phoenix, ADHA, it still says:

"The National E-Health Transition Authority will continue to assess clinical safety of the system elements with oversight from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care."

Human error is the biggest threat to privacy and security.
